The Guesthouse
Lakeside boasts a main guesthouse with four en-suite twin bedrooms, and five attractive cottages. The rooms are simply furnished and comfortable; you may choose whether to stay in the main guest house or one of the cottages*.
We are pleased to be able to offer air conditioning in some of our rooms and cottages, and the location of Lakeside at the foot of the hills and close to the lake ensures that all our rooms are a pleasant temperature and airy.
Breakfast is taken on the lake view verandah, whilst lunch is in the open-ended living area. The evening meal is taken on the large rooftop terrace overlooking the lake and mountains. The multi-cuisine kitchen offers a wide variety of both authentic Indian cuisine and continental meals. Although menus are fixed the local staff are happy to cater for individual needs such as vegetarian or diabetic.

The Cottages
The open plan living area of the Cottages includes sleeping accommodation for two, although up to two extra beds (suitable for families only) can be arranged at additional cost. There is a comfortably furnished, spacious living area with cooling fans and your own private balcony with beautiful lake view. The cottages are set in the pretty gardens allowing for extra privacy and seclusion, but a gentle walk of only a minute or two brings you to the main house and dining facilities.
And the Gardens...
Lakeside is hidden away within its own private gardens. Sensitively landscaped, the plants, paths and ponds are a haven for wildlife as well as being thoroughly enjoyable for our human visitors.

Price quoted is for a single bedroom* and unlike many other guesthouses, Lakeside does not charge a "single suppliment". Twin rooms and Cottages with or without air-conditioning are also available, please see our tariffs for details.
* At busy periods, rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis, although we will do our utmost to accommodate your wishes.
